To enable us to assist you as efficiently please give as much information as possible when contacting us. This includes the platform you are trying to access, a description of the problem and any error messages you may receive.

If you are trying to access a subject specific platform such as SENECA or MyMaths and attempts to reset your password via their website has been unsuccessful please contact your Subject teacher in the first instance.

Resetting your password from home

We now have a facility which allows you to reset your school password from home. This requires using a personal email address (which can be a parent/carer’s) and will need to be set up in advance of forgetting your password. Please see the guide below for how to use this facility.

School emails and Teams

Your school email is your username followed by @oriel.w-sussex.sch.uk/ The password is your usual school computer password

Teams, whether online or as an app, uses your school email address and password to log on.

For trouble accessing school emails, please do not click the forgotten password link on the sign in page but instead go to the intranet and click on the Forgot password? button and follow the instructions.

Satchel One

This was previously called Show My Homework/SMHW

Seneca

You can now log in using your school email address and computer password.

In order to do this, use the Continue with Microsoft button and enter your details there.

If you have forgotten your school password, please use the Forgot password? button on the intranet and follow the instructions.

Please note, the first time you use the Continue with Microsoft function you will need to enter your Seneca password for verification. If you have forgotten it, please reset using the Forgotten password link on Seneca.

MyChildAtSchool

This allows parents/carers to view a variety of information we hold on our school system.

If you are using it for the first time, please refer to the instructions you were sent and who to contact in the event of a problem.

If you are a returning user, our school ID is 13394 and your login details are the email address and password set for MyChildAtSchool.

If you have forgotten your password, it can be reset via the forgotten login link on the site MyChildAtSchool – Forgotten Login
