In these unsettling times I should like to take this opportunity to congratulate our students on their achievements. Not only am I pleased that they have quite rightly been awarded their centre assessed grades, but I also want to pay tribute to them for their calm and supportive response to the lockdown announcement and the cancellation of their examinations. The kind support they showed each on those last days in March was so impressive and speaks volumes about them as young ladies and gentlemen. I remain very grateful to our families for the support that they have provided and continue to provide for our school. I should also like to take this opportunity to thank our staff for their outstanding efforts to provide the best for our students. It has been said before, but these unusual and unprecedented times have certainly brought out the best in our staff, our students and their families and illustrates our powerful sense of partnership working. I wish our Year 11 students every happiness and success for the future in their next stage whether or not that is with us in our Sixth Form.
