Take part in the ‘Virtual’ Sussex School Games

Continuing throughout the summer term, a new sport, including four physical or technical sporting personal challenges will be launched every Monday morning.

You can practice, train and improve during the week, before submitting your best scores in each challenge online at www.sussexschoolgames.co.uk, ahead of the 12.00pm Friday deadline each week. You do not have to post your challenge videos online, unless you want to of course; if you do, and want them to be shared by Sussex School Games, tag them with #SussexSchGames

This week’s sports are netball & basketball; the four challenge videos can be found here:

The four accompanying challenge task cards can be found here:

Of the different leader boards for scoring, we believe that the Spirit of the Games Award for most participants is the most important, as we want to get as many of you as possible active and involved in the challenges each week. Team Oriel has ranked 1st in Crawley for the first four weeks, and ranked 9th in Sussex for three weeks in a row; we want to retain top spot in Crawley, and to climb the table in Sussex!

Participation in the ‘Virtual’ Sussex School Games is not solely open to students, it’s for the whole community; teachers, parents, carers, family-members, alumni and friends of Oriel can all get involved and represent Team Oriel, so please encourage the older members of your family/friends that you may have to take part too.
